I think this is also the first time I've ever done polished line work digitally. In the past I've always done the pencils and inks on paper and then booted up my scanner. The biggest issue I had with the transition was not being able to turn the page slightly when drawing the lines (I guess I'm just better at drawing straight from certain angles). On the other hand, I loved being able to easily stretch and move parts of the rough line when setting up the composition. I also definitely need to get a larger tablet...

I've recently had some time off between projects (in other words, unemployed). One benefit of sitting around at home during the week has been taking some time to paint on the computer. It's been years since I've had the time and desire to put some real effort into any art. Turns out I was pretty rusty. Fortunately, it's easy to erase in the digital medium. You can check out the line work and final result below.
